Getting lean means the right approach to fat. The best formula for the weight you want is:
80% nutrition, 10% training, 10% genetics. Nutrition is most effective when it's clean and 5 to 6 smaller meals daily to stoke your metabolism. This includes eating healthy fats on a daily basis to help produce a lean waistline.
  • Eat 15-20% of your diet in good fat. That includes: egg yolks, extra virgin olive oil, seeds and nuts.
  • Eat 25% of your daily diet in protein which roughly translates into 5 or 6 grams six times a day. Sources are:  grass fed animals, sustainable wild fish, legumes, tofu, quinoa, sea vegetables, and some dairy.
  • Eat 40% of your daily diet in complex carbohydrates. This is your best fuel source. Choose from fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains and avoid the starchy white ones. The complex carbs require their packaging to be intact because peels, germs, hulls are where the all essential fibers are!
